On Friday August 22, participants will have the opportunity to travel to the Bergendal River Resort in the district of Brokopondo during the Fun Day activity.

Hotel facilities are accessible to wheelchairs. Fully adapted accommodation for disabled persons is limited. For any special needs – including dietary requirements – please inform the Hotel accordingly.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”Accommodation & Meals” title_align=”separator_align_right” color=”orange”][vc_column_text]The Secretariat has made a tentative block reservation at the Royal Torarica and Torarica Casino for all participants. The preferential rate for registered participants inclusive of breakfast and service charge is US$ 120 (single/ double occupancy) and US$ 155 (triple occupancy) at the Royal Torarica.  While at the Hotel Torarica and Casino the per night room rate is US$ 125 (single/ double occupancy) and US$ 145 (triple occupancy).

The preferential room rate is dependent on availability and cannot be guaranteed for reservations made after July 16, 2014.

Check in is from 17:00 hrs. and check-out is before 13:00hrs.

In case you have special requirements please let the Hotel know, so that availability of appropriate facilities can be checked.

CARICOM holders are NOT subject to the visa obligations to enter Suriname, with no limit on the number of days on the planned stay.

Non CARICOM passport holders Participants who are NOT CARICOM passport holders may be subject to visa obligations.  We strongly advise you to send a scanned copy of your national passport to sally.bynoe@caribsurf.com for preparation of an invitation letter to ease your visa release process.

Arriving in Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (PBM) or commonly called Paramaribo-Zanderij International Airport:

Hotel shuttles will be available in front of the arrival area for all registered and confirmed participants. Banks: Monday thru Friday from 8h00 to 13h30; closed on week-ends. However DSB Bank & GODO Bank are available at weekends

ATMs / CAMBIO: widely available.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”Weather & Time Zone” title_align=”separator_align_right” color=”orange”][vc_column_text]Suriname has tropical weather.  Temperatures are uniformly high as is the relative humidity.  The average early morning minimum is X C and the afternoon maximum X C.  Kindly note however that meeting rooms are air conditioned and colder.
